Lake Albert Playgroup has been moulding young minds for more than 20 years thanks to an evolving group of dedicated parents and carers.
Playgroups run solely on volunteered time from residents and Kim Sannazzaro knows all too well the benefits of the group.
The mother-of-four is currently the Lake Albert Playgroup co-ordinator and regularly brings her children to sessions.
“We do it for the love of it,” she said.
“It can be as structured as we want …and it is helpful for a lot of mums in Wagga.”
National Playgroup Week will be celebrated in Wagga on March 18 with a playgroup at Collins Park from 10am.
This is a free community event with face painting, children’s entertainment, arts and craft, petting zoo, jumping castle and a music class.
