This year’s Cooma Show theme is Wool on the Monaro and it acknowledges generations of Monaro Graziers, past and present, who through their resilience over one and a half centuries in a harsh climate, have developed the Monaro into one of the most renowned Merino breeding and wool growing areas in Australia, if not the world.

Kaye Anderson, Cooma-Monaro Shire’s, 2016 Australia Day Citizen of the Year, will officially open the Cooma Show at 1.30 PM and this year’s Cooma Showgirl, Kristy Wassink, will be on hand to help present awards and fulfuil other duties pertinent to her role.

Don’t miss Cooma’s biggest annual one-day event this Saturday…with quality livestock, various displays, produce, craft, horse events, wood chopping, kid’s entertainment and so much more, you and your family are sure to have a fantastic day.
